Cherry juice as you would find in your grocer's frozen juice section is an acceptable substitute.
For other solutions, look to Quercetin and Vitamin C. These help your body remove uric acid from the tissues and to reduce overall uric acid levels. Bromelain is an anti-inflammatory to help reduce the pain. Nettle can be used both internally and externally to provide pain relief and reduce uric acid levels. Flax oil may deter the production of leukotrienes, substances involved in the inflammatory reaction of gout. When beginning this kind of uric acid reduction you should drink at least 3-4 quarts of water a day. Uric acid is also the cause of Kidney stones. A sample may be enough to determine effectiveness of Bromelain, Quercetin, and Curcumin (Turmeric) against the pain and inflammation of the joints but you will have to keep it up as it does nothing about the base problem of the uric acid in the joints.

We do not offer samples of liquids. Since you may be using this as a topical it is important that it be a liquid. Nettle Tea would be a good substitute for this product. While we offer samples of that it is only a two bag sample and would not be enough to determine how well it works for you.
